Ann Michelle is dedicated to improving the health, happiness and well-being of others. She has 14 years’ experience using acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine in the treatment of internal medicine disorders, neuromuscular disorders, general orthopedic conditions and pain management. She treats her clients as part of a multidisciplinary team using a holistic approach to complement traditional western medicine. For the last decade, she has specialized in the treatment of spinal cord injury and pain patients at Project Walk in Carlsbad, California. Ann Michelle has staff privileges at Paradise Valley Hospital and worked in the rehab center treating stroke patients with acupuncture to promote their recovery. She is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego and studied under Dr. Ming Qing Zhu, creator of Zhu Scalp Acupuncture. She is certified by the California Acupuncture Board of Chinese Medicine and is also nationally certified through NCCAOM. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Ann Michelle earned a business degree from SDSU and worked at Gaia Day spa as a Holistic Health Practitioner in La Jolla.
