JEFFREY A. MERSKY, D.C., APC-M, CSP, QME
Dr. Jeffrey A. Mersky is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College in the Atlanta, Georgia area, and has been practicing Chiropractic and Neurological techniques since 1985.
He was badly injured at the age of ten, and suffered chronic back and neck issues for two years. Eventually he was treated Chiropractically, and found relief outside the conventional medical protocols of that time. His symptoms were completely resolved. This experience left an indelible mark in his young mind and lead to a lifetime path of helping others in need and giving back to his community.
He is certified as an advanced S.O.T. (Sacro Occipital Technique) practitioner with special emphasis on Cranial, Airway, Cervical and TMJ disorders. Dr. Mersky has been instructing SOT to other Chiropractic and Dental professionals for many years as a way of sharing his advanced experience and clinical expertise.
He has completed a 300-hour Diplomate Certification Post Graduate Program in Internal Disorders for the Chiropractic Physician, and is a Board Eligible Chiropractic Internist.
He is one of 400 Chiropractors in the United States with the designation of APC-M (Advanced Practice of Chiropractic Medicine). Additionally, Dr. Mersky has completed hundreds of hours of course work in nutrition, and is a graduate of the Functional Medicine University. He knows that healthcare is a dynamic profession, and continues to study all aspects of structural and biochemical approaches to optimal health in a balanced body.
Dr. Mersky is certified in the administration of nonsurgical and noninvasive disc therapies through advanced spinal decompression. He is trained in Active Release Methods (ART), a technique that addresses myofascial scar tissue and the release of adhesions and related muscular issues. He is also certified in Musculo-skeletal rehabilitation methods through Los Angeles Chiropractic College.
He has served as an adjunct faculty professor at Bastyr University of Naturopathic Medicine in San Diego, and served on the University Advisory Board to the Bastyr President. He also worked for three years as the Vice-President of Klaire Laboratories, a nutritional company that pioneered support for environmentally sensitive people.
